Hair Tutorial // Loose Pigtail Braids

Whenever autumn starts to roll around my brain automatically thinks Free People and then I start to think loose messy braids. I just love the bohemian vibe. I've tried to do loose pigtail braids before but somehow could never get it right. They would still come out looking too tight or the braid part didn't seem to fall far down enough. But then it came to me and it turns out the look is so easy to achieve. It's all in the twist to make it look effortless.
1. Split your hair into two even sides.
2. Twist your hair in towards your face and rubber band about an inch and half down.
3. Straighten out your hair so when you that begin to braid it comes down straight.
3. Braid whatever kind of braid you like...I went with a normal braid because it's fast.
4. Tie your braid at the bottom and cut the rubber band from the top of your braid.
5. Loosen the braid and repeat to the other side.

Hair Tutorial // Snake Braid

I'm not sure what it is about braids but I can't help but love trying out new ones. There are always so many variations to try that it's never boring. I really love this hairstyle because it allows me to wear my hair down while still adding some interest to an everyday look. Doesn't this snake braid look so interesting?? Try it and let me know how it works for you!
1. Start with your hair parted to one side.
2. Take a small section from the top and braid it.
3. From the 3 strands of your braid, grab the middle one and pull up the outer two to the top.
4. It should start to create a "snake" look as you pull up.
5. Pin back and it's ready to wear!

Sock Bun Hair Tutorial

I've always loved quick and easy hair styles so naturally it was about time that I tried the sock bun. It's pretty much the easiest thing to give you a put together look when you don't have much time spend in front of the mirror. Oh and I've seen a few different way of using a sock bun but, this way of styling it works really well for my short hair and layers.
First of all, you are going to need a sock donut. To make, simply get a sock (preferably one close to your hair color), cut the toes part off, and roll into donut. Now lets get started.
1. Pull hair into a loose pony tail.
2. Slide sock donut onto pony.
3. Split hair into two sections and spread over sock donut.
4. Put a rubber band over donut to create bun.
5. Wrap the ends of hair around bun and secure with bobby pins.
All done :)
