Colorful Florals

Dress: Target, Skirt: Closet Swapped, Shoes: Nine West
Once summer hits I always tell myself that I'm going to fill my closets with lots and lots of color. The sad thing is that I usually don't. Black is pretty much my comfort zone color...I just cant' help it. The last time I wore this skirt it was with a black tee but this time I wanted to go full on color. I really like it this way so much more...happier, prettier, and just more fun.
Do you ever feel like you have a comfort zone color? Do you stick to neutrals or colors when getting dressed?

Pink Dresses & Mint Poufs are Fun

Dress: Marshall's, Belt: Target, Shoes: Nine West, Pouf: Ban.do Clutch: Jenny Packham (similar)
Over the weekend, we went to a comedy show and then an 80's club after to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. We saw Gabriel Iglesias "Fluffy", and he had us laughing all night long. I knew the night was going to be good night filled with laughter, drinks, and dancing with some of my favorite people. Naturally, I had to wear something just as fun and this mint pouf always makes any outfit seem that much more fun..see I even do kissy faces. lol.
Happy Wednesday girlies...it's date night!!

Sweet Spot for Scallops

Top: Target, Shorts: Langford Market, Heels: Image
Last weekend while at the Texas Style Conference, I took a workshop about self photography. Elizabeth from Delightfully Tacky is hilarious and gave some helpful tips on the subject. I decided that this weekend would be my perfect chance to test it out. Consider this outfit post as self photography take 1. Not so bad for my first time in front of the self timer on my camera...I'm a good student I guess. I bought these shorts while shopping in downtown Austin last week. I thought the scallop edges were the cutest and knew they would a great addition to my summer wardrobe...loving them so far.
