It seems I've been wearing shorts a lot lately. It's just the easiest thing to transition from day to night  just by adding tights and heels for a dressed up look. Oh and adding tights to any outfit is also probably my favorite way to transition all my summer looks into fall outfits. I'm loving the weather right now, the mornings and evenings are just beautiful and I can't wait till it's cool enough to wear tights all day. Till then, my tights will take the night shift.

The After Effects

Hope everyone is doing well. I was actually sick over the weekend and am feeling a lot better right now. I went to a concert last Thursday and by Friday my throat started to feel really sore. Saturday and Sunday I hardly sounded like myself and my voice was all scratchy. I guess I was really into the music but hey, Rise Against has that kind of effect on me. I even went crowd surfing which was pretty fun. So I guess this is what I dress like when I'm feeling sick. Needless to say, my voice is back to normal and all I'm left with is a bit of a sore throat, but don't worry I've been taking my medicine.

Working Girl

I usually show you all what I wear when I'm going out but I thought it would be fun to show you what you can find me wearing during the week from 8 to 5. This is a usual work outfit for me, a blouse, skirt, and heels....typical me right? The last time I worked an office job, I got bored with getting dressed for work because I wouldn't see too many people throughout the day...so I kind of stopped caring about what I looked like. These days, I make sure to only wear things that I know I love and am going to feel good in. This is an outfit I wore earlier during the week that consists of things that make me happy like a fun printed blouse, delicate jewelry, and a skirt with interesting details...love the inverted darts and exposed zipper.
