Writings on the Wall

Tank: Thrifted, Skirt: F21, Heels: Target, Bracelets: Hot Topic

I've always loved being able to find different ways to wear a garment and think it's fun to experiment with everything in my closet. This is one of those high low skirts, or as I call it a fishtail skirt that has quickly become a favorite in my wardrobe. I decided to twist it around and wear it so the hem falls at an angle. You should try this with all of your fishtail skirts...so much fun to give a new look to your skirt.

Make it Better Mondays: Neon Stripe Belt

Skirt: Target, Skirt Thrifted, Wedges: Thrifted Aldo, Belt: DIY

Within the past year belts have become one of my favorite accessories. I find that I'm constantly cinching in my waist and love having different styles to really make a statement. This skinny belt, that I'm sure most of you probably have somewhere in your closet too,  was easily transformed with just a bit of polish. I love that by adding a simple bright stripe, this belt adds a fun pop of color and knotting up the belt creates a really pretty line.

Here's how to Make it Better:

1. Tape off the area of your belt that doesn't need to be painted
2. Paint your belt with polish of choice...let 1st coat dry, then apply a 2nd
3. Take off tape
4. Ready to wear...pair it with everything and have fun.

Dress Me Up in Lace

Lace Top: Thrifted, Jeans: Gap, Heels: Target, Clutch: Thrifted

I'm not the type of girl you find in jeans everyday, for some reason a dress or skirt just seems to work out best for me. Whenever I do decided to wear jeans, I try to pair it with something to dress them up a bit while still staying casual. I've always loved lace and think it adds a sweet charm when paired with jeans. How do you dress up your jeans?
Hope you all enjoy the weekend :)

Wishing you all a Happy Easter.
