Watermelon Popsicles

Lately when it's been getting hot, it's been getting hot hot hot! Watermelon happens to be one of my favorite summertime snacks to cool off with so I decided to make some popsicles with them. They were so good and I like that you can pretty much add any type of fruit to make different flavor combinations.
 Watermelon and Strawberries
The steps to making these are simple.  Place your  chopped watermelon and desired fruit into a blender or chopper and mix until it's juiced. At this point, you could add a sprinkle of sugar if your watermelon happens to not be so sweet. Chop up a few more pieces of fruit, I decided to add kiwi to mine but you could go with anything and place these in the popsicle molds. Fill the molds with watermelon/fruit juice and freeze.
Enjoy!

What are some of your favorite treats to beat the heat?

Try these fruit popsicles I made last year.

Casual Color Block

Top: JC Penny, Jeans: Forever 21, Necklace: Rue 21, Wedges: Nine West
Hey everyone, hope you all have been well. It's been awhile, right? Me and Chris went this weekend to run a few errands and pick up a few things for some diy projects! I'm excited to show you all what we worked on over the weekend. It was pretty windy yesterday, so I decided to wear jeans and just paired it with my favorite color block top...oh and I'm loving this mint floral necklace. I love to dress up, but every now and then it's almost necessary to keep it casual in jeans.

Pattern Play

Dress: Gifted Kohls, Tee: Old Forever 21, Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Me and Chris like to do our grocery shopping on Sundays and I had been lazying it up all day in this dress. To feel a little dressed up, I knotted up this tee and threw on my litas. I decided to pair up stripes and polka dots together for the first time for this grocery store outfit. I've mixed other patterns before but I'm not sure why I've never tried this combination before? I loved the fun mix...it might be one of my favorite!
What's your favorite pattern combination to wear?
