Life Lately

1. Eating pizza while waiting for Shinedown to come on stage...have you ever seen them? They are amazing!!!
2. I just started a new nutrition plan and have been trying to eat better, this is my favorite snack.
3. Getting out in the city to see Carrie Underwood...I went to three concerts that week!
4. A bulldog bank Chris bought for me...I think he may be wearing more than he has in him lol.
5. My journal to keep track of my meals and workouts and my fitness inspiration...I added the pic to it because that's pretty much how I feel about summer.
6. My favorite from starbucks, mocha & madelines. Oh if you ever get a mocha ask for an extra pump of vanilla...just a little trick I learned while working there years ago.
7. My dad's birthday cake that my sis made for him...isn't she just so creative?
8. Trying on stripes in the fitting room while on a recent shopping trip.
9. Scar...he's the only one we have left. Love him so much.
10. At the club with Chris on Saturday night.

Stars and Spikes

Stars and Spikes...yup, this was my nickname for the night. I think Chris thought he was pretty clever when he came up with it...that guy, he's so lucky I love him. My cousin celebrated her birthday over the weekend and we went out for a night of dancing. Her theme for her party was all about MAC makeup and everyone had to dress in black and white. This was I ended up going with, I'm not the kind of girl to pass up on the chance to twirl about and dance around the dance floor in a tutu skirt. Oh and my shoes, aren't they just the best? I scored these lovelies for only $35! I was pretty excited and knew I had to wear them that night. Fun outfit, fun night...a great weekend.

That's Just Me

This was an outfit from Sunday for a movie date with Chris. Usually when I wear the litas I don't feel very girlie girl but somehow the whole combination of this outfit worked for me...this is probably my favorite outfit wearing them. It was my turn to pick the movie and so that means that the next movie is Chris' pick...so Iron Man 3 it is. Just to be honest, I don't think the Iron Man movies are bad but for some reason I fall asleep in them every time...even at home. It took me a total of four times to actually finish the first one lol. I don't know, maybe Tony Stark just isn't my guy...so wish me luck on the third movie. What will you all be doing this weekend?
