Chocolate is My Secret Lover


I love to bake but I'll admit there are some days when I feel like taking the easy way out and doing something just fast and simple. For days like this, I like to make batches of chocolate croissants. Just add pieces of a bar of chocolate to croissant dough, put in the oven for a few minutes, and enjoy. One day I'll learn how to make them from scratch but until then...

Hey dolls, hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was surprisingly relaxing after having such a hectic week. Now that it's Monday, life will be pretty busy once again. I'm going to Austin this weekend and have so many things to get done before I go. I wore this out Saturday night for a casual dinner date. Margaritas and Mexican food, fajita enchiladas to be exact, are always a good thing :)

It seems that this week my only friend has been my sewing machine. I stayed up into the early hours of the morning (almost 5) trying to finish up some garments to show my teacher today. I woke up this morning only to keep sewing until the time I had to run out the door to go to class. It turned out my teacher was sick and never made it to class...so much for all my hard work but at least now I'm ahead. This cute little dress happened to be the perfect thing to throw on when needing to get dressed in a hurry and still looking great with almost no effort but adding a gold belt.
