Off to a Busy Week

Shirt: Thrifted, Cardigan: Target, Shorts: Express, Heels: Target, Necklace: Gift

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend.  Mine was really good, especially since it started off with date night.  It turns out the boyfriend didn't take me out...instead when I got to his place I found dinner, wine, and candles on the table.  He had made me chicken alfredo pasta (I'm a huge lover of anything pasta)...oh and have I ever mentioned that the boyfriend is an amazing cook?? I really didn't expect a surprise dinner and although I got dressed for a night out, I wouldn't pass up the chance of a sweet romantic dinner with the boyfriend...especially one made by him.  It was a great weekend and I didn't do much but enjoy it but this morning I had so many things to do. Because I was going to be running errands all day,  I decided on this simple outfit with a bit of sparkle.

Now that I'm finally home, I'm teaching myself how to knit.  It's something I want to try to learn so I can use it in a school project.
So far this is as far as I've gotten.  I'm getting the hang of it but wish me luck :)
Have you ever tried knitting?

All Dressed Up For Date Night :)

Shirt: Thrifted, Skirt: Thrifted, Shoes: Target, Headband: Sea of Blooming Dreams

Me and the boyfriend are going out tonight but he wouldn't tell me where.  That's okay, I always like a good surprise.  The only problem is sometimes I'm not sure how to dress for the occasion so I decided on something casual but still girly and dressed up because that's how I like to do things. I love this shirt for the casual feel while still being flirty and fun with the ruffle detail and I think it looks great with this black skirt that has become a favorite in my wardrobe.  Oh and how do you all like my headband?? I plan on selling them in my etsy shop soon. Anyway I'm out to spend time with my love.

What are you all up to this weekend??  Do tell :)
Enjoy the weekend.

Dunk Margarita

As I've mentioned last week was pretty stressful and by the time the weekend came all I really wanted was a drink.  Chris said he had the perfect thing for me.  Before I knew it we were at the store buying everything we needed to make a dunk margarita.  Have any of you ever had one before?? It was my first time and after watching Chris make the first one, making them for the rest of the night was a breeze.  Now I normally don't like Dos Equis to drink as beer alone but mixed with the margarita it was perfection.

All you need is
