I Get What I Want

Lately I've been seeing neon colored skirts popping up everywhere on some of my favorite blogs.  I couldn't help but notice how great these girls looked and I suddenly had dreams of having one of my own.  So what did I do??  I went out and bought fabric and made it myself.  I couldn't be happier with the results and I could really notice the improvement in my sewing skills :)  I think neon colored bottoms look best with neutral colored shoes and these bow heels have been a favorite this summer.  What have been some of the current fashion trends you have been wanting to try??

Strawberry Red

Since the summer started this dress has been my go to dress if I just want to hang out at home or run into town.  It's comfortable to wear and perfect for this hot weather and the color and print feels perfect for summer. Red actually happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear...what's yours?? Every time I wear this dress, the look is always a bit different.  This time I added a belt I bought when I visited my sister in D.C., later on in the day I added some gold hoops and bangles.  I have a really bad habit of leaving earrings, rings, and bracelets in my car...I don't know why. This is my last weekend before school starts so I'm going to do my best to enjoy what I have left of my summer...what are you all doing this weekend??  Hope it's a good one :)
