DIY // Festive Christmas Tree Crown

So the holidays are already in full swing over here. I’ve already played white elephant, started secret santa, and decorated all around the apartment…and it’s only just a few days into December! Currently my calendar is already booked every weekend with some kind of holiday party…I mean the more the merrier when it comes to parties right?! Anyway I wanted to share this quick and easy festive diy that is sure to be a hit at any Christmas gathering you’ve got going on this holiday season. Also does it get any cuter than mini sequin trees? I don’t think so.

Supplies: Bottle Brush Trees, Sequins, Headband, & Glue Gun with Glue

The steps are simple.

1. Hot glue your sequins onto the trees to resemble ornaments.

2. Glue the trees to the headband…and that’s it! *you could also at this point add some felt underneath the headband in the areas where the trees are glued*

So fun! Happy Holidays Friends!

DIY Pearl Jeans

Hey girlies :) For the past 6 months diy pearl jeans have been on my to do list and I finally did it this past weekend and knew I had to share here. Saturday mornings are my favorite for crafting. I wake up pretty early and Chris sleeps in so I usually have the mornings to myself and it works out perfect for doing all my little diy projects.

All you need is a pair of jeans, pearls ( I think two different sizes looks best), needle, & thread.

Decide on a general pattern of where the pearls will go. I went with one leg but you could do both sides...that would look cute too. Sew on pearls by going through the inside of the pant leg. Loop through the hole of the pearl twice to secure it down and then add another pearl. I spaced mine about an inch apart and was able to get about five pearls added before needing to put a new piece of thread on the needle. It really just depends on the length of thread you start out with. Keep adding pearls until you are happy with the amount you have. Just a tip, but I think it's good at some point to try the jeans on to make sure you are not placing the pearls to far on the inside of your thighs. This project is super simple and fast. It only took me about 30 minutes to finish...all you need is some good tunes to listen to while doing it. Currently I'm hooked to hearing Demi Lovato's Sorry Not Sorry song.

This is such an easy project to whip out on the weekend...let me know if you give it a try.

DIY Queen of Hearts Tee

Hello :) So Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I couldn't wait to share this simple diy with you. Wouldn't it be fun to make this Queen of Hearts tee at your coming up Galentine's party or just to wear something festive but not too over the top on V-day? Let me tell you now, it's fun. I always like to celebrate holidays and when that holiday involves hearts, I'm all in. I thought this was a cute way to make a dressier skirt more casual or to make a pair of denim just a bit more fun. It really works for whatever style you are feeling.

Supplies: a white tee, cutout stencils of hearts and Q's (I just printed my from word), red fabric, scissors, red thread, needle

The steps to making this tee are pretty easy...if you know me from my old blog then you know those are the type of projects I like lol.

Step 1. cut out your red fabric pieces. 1 large heart, 2 small hearts, and 2 Q's. Just pin the printed pieces to your red fabric and cut out.

Step 2. Pin your fabric pieces on to your tee and sew on. Yup, super simple.
